JKCA cautious players, postpones activities

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) on Tuesday cautioned the players not to fall pray to any misleading statements with regard to holding of trails and selections of the teams in various age categories for the season ahead.
Subsequently, the General Secretary of the JKCA, M.L Nehru, in a notification issued from Srinagar, has also postponed all the activities both at Kashmir and Jammu till further announcement.
He mentioned that the JKCA will not be responsible for any such activity undertaken at any of the two wings of the association. As per the notification, the General Secretary has made it clear that only those selections, already nominated by the JKCA, will select the teams in all age groups of Ranji, under-23, under-19, under-16 and under-14 as also in women’s categories in due course of time.
