JKAS officers accord farewell to Syed Muried Hussain Shah

JAMMU: Syed Muried Hussain Shah after rendering forty years public service, retired on Wednesday on superannuation. He has given his services in various departments and contributed to the best of his abilities and wisdom. He served as Assistant Director Handicrafts, Handloom, General Manager DIC, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Custodian Evacuee Properties, CEO/Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Buildings and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Deputy Resident Commissioner New Delhi, Deputy Excise Commissioner Executive and Additional Secretary ARI and Trainings Department.
His contributions as CEO/Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Construction Workers Welfare Board as founder of organisation will be remembered till the organisation exists.
He relized/collected a huge revenue, make the schemes raised the infrastructure and provided the assistance to needy construction workers.
As Deputy Excise Commissioner he relised huge revenue and make the system of excise revenue collection transparent. He always stood and worked for poor and the needy countrymen. He was a humble submissive officer who was outspoken and never succumbed to the pressure and always took the side of poor. He was given warm farewell by the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services Officers and officers and officials of ARI Department and Printing Press Srinagar.
They wished him happy, prosperous and healthy life in future.
