JAMMU: SP City North Jammu, Kulbir Handa on Tuesday distributed medals among the winners of 4th Jammu Kashmir UT Powerlifting Championship organized by Powerlifting Association of J&K affiliated with Indian Powerlifting Federation (IPF) at Bhagwati Nagar Stadium, here.
Over 60 players under different weight categories including men and women participated in the championship.
Medals and certificates were distributed among the winners by the Chief Guest Kulbir Handa in presence of Guests of Honour , Divisional Sports Officer Central Nuzhat Gazala, Nusrat Gazala, Vijay Kumar Dabgotra, Sheikh Riyaz Ahmad, Ishu Choudhary, Diksha Kalhuria, Riya Kalhuria, Atul Gupta and Vishal Sharma.
The officiating referees of the championship were Preet Dutta, Sandeep Kumar, Vijay Chowdhary, Rakesh Kumar, Rohit Singh, Ankush, Sandeep Kumar.
Other officials present were Karamjeet Singh, Salinder Dogra, Vipul Gupta, Shovit Varma and Shakshi Sharma.
Vote of thanks was presented by Kuldeep Singh (Working President) and Rakesh Kumar (General Secretary J&K).
