UDHAMPUR: The J and K State Legal Services Authority (JKSLSA) has constituted a core group for Udhampur District particularly for Panchari Block to ensure effective implementation of relief and rehabilitation measures for recent flood hit victims.
The core group comprising Chief Judicial Magistrate, Udhampur, Special Mobile Magistrate (Sub Judge) Udhampur, Ankush Gupta, Retainer Lawyer, Shamim Ahmed Retainer Lawyer, Sunny Kumar, PLV Udhampur, Rahul Badogtra, PLV Udhampur, Ravi Kumar, PLV Udhampur, Pankaj Khajuria, PLV Udhampur, Babu Ram, PLb Udhampur, Sham Lal, PLV Udhampur, Shamsher Singh, PLV Udhampur and Swaran Kant PLV’s Udhampur will also organise legal care and support system in the affected areas besides assisting rehabilitation, care and future education of orphans, rehabilitation of old and disabled who lost supporting families, assessment of problems relating to insurance policies and arrangement of bank loans for restarting the lost business.
The core group led by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Authority (Chief Judicial Magistrate) Udhampur shall establish care and support groups unit and work in coordination with army/district administration, health authorities, government agencies and other NGOs to provide relief to the flood/landslide victims of disaster particularly for Panchari Block and CJM Udhampur should submit compliance report on day to day basis to this office for onward submission to the J and K State Legal Services Committee.
