JAMMU: A deputation of J and K Government Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) leaders met Divisional Commissioner Jammu and submitted memorandum to Chief Minister through him demanding implementation of Seventh Pay Commission in favour of the State Government Employees.
In the memorandum, the deputation demanded frame policy for regularisation of casual and need basis labourers working since 1994 in various government departments, removal of pay anomalies of Clerical Staff and enhancement in medical allowance from Rs 300 to 2,000.
JCC leaders appealed to the State Government employees be ready for struggle to get the Seventh Pay Commission implementation and other demands in near future if the government fails to implement the same. They informed that after opening of Durbar offices in Jammu, they will approach to Chief Minister for early settlement of employees’ demands.
The deputation comprised of Balwinder Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Amrik Singh, Dharminder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Ravi Singh Bahu, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Ravinder Singh, Amrik Singh Sasan, Gopal Singh, Jagdish Sharma, Uttam Chand Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Umar Jan, Jaswinder Singh, Anil Gupta, Narinder Singh Dard, Barjesh Mehta, Subash Sharma, Balbir Rahi, Amrik Singh Chib, Deedar Singh, Surjit Singh, Abdul Aziz, Yash Pal Sharma, Ramesh Singh Bahu and Surat Singh Toofani.
