Inter-zone tournament of Samba District commences Ramgarh Zone wins volleyball title, Samba Zone Kho-Kho

SAMBA: Ramgarh Zone outplayed Samba Zone in volleyball final by 2-0 and lifted the trophy in the Inter-school Zone Level under-19 Tournament for girls and boys being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba.
The tournament is being held under the guidance of Director General DYSSO and supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Samba, Subash Chander Bhardwaj.
Chief Guest, O.P Bhagat, Chief Education Officer, Samba, inaugurated the tournament in the presence of Zonal Physical Education Officers, Rakesh Verma, B.D Sharma, Vijay Singh Slathia, Pardeep Singh and Raghubir Singh.
In Kho-Kho Samba Zone defeated Ghagwal Zone by eight points while Purmandal Zone defeated Samba Zone in kabbadi final by nine points in boys section.
In wrestling the winners in different categories were Sandeep Singh (Samba Zone), Shakeel Ahmed (Samba Zone), Wasim Akram (Purmandal Zone), Shabbir Ahmed (Vijaypur Zone) and Rohit Kumar (Vijaypur Zone).
The events were officiated by the technical panel comprising Anirudh Singh Slathia, Dildar Singh, Sumant Singh, Subash Sharma, Raj Kumar, Mukesh Sharma, Bhupinder Singh, Sandeep Singh, Keshav Singh, Kapoor Chand, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Sudesh Sharma, Sardari Lal, Darbari Lal, Shashi Sambyal, Asha Rani, Roopa Sambyal, Rajni Devi and Rama Rani.
