JAMMU: Steel Club of Civil Engineering of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) on Thursday organised Inter-departmental Debate Competition on the topic ‘Is Democracy the Best Form of Government’ in connection with Voters Day 2018. Students of 6th semester participated in the competition.
Er. Vidhi Singh Jamwal, Chairman, Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI) was the Chief Guest and the event was adjudged by Dr. Sandeep Malik (Dean), Dr Ambasta, Dr Dinesh Verma, K.R Sharma and other faculty members. Muskan Gupta (6th Sem, CSE) bagged first prize and Mehreena Syed (6thSem, Civil) was the runner up.
The welcome address was read by Rajnish Magotra (HoD Civil) and vote of thanks was presented by Shivang Sharma(Club Co-ordinator).
