Intach quiz-2016 held at Jodhamal School

JAMMU: The Jammu Chapter of Intach organised city round of Intach Quiz-2016 at Jodhamal Public School, on Saturday.
A total of 126 students from 25 leading schools of Jammu, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Samba, Miran Sahib and Bari Brahmana, sent 63 teams of two students each from Class 7th to 10th, who battled it out in a written round consisting of 20 questions, heritage based of national, State and regional level. The top three promising teams from written round, progressed to Jammu Final rounds, which was an oral quiz and they were APS Dhar Road, Jodhamal Public School and KC International School Jammu.

Final Round of the Intach Quiz-2016. The winning team will compete in the J and K State Final Round and the best students/winners of the State Round shall be invited to Delhi for final round at the national level. All the participating students were awarded certificate of participation and best 10 students were awarded the certificates of merit. Prof. Sudhir Singh and Prof. Kavita Suri, were Quiz Masters of the event, who conducted the various stages of competition professional manners.
Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee Jodhamal Public School was the Chief Guest, S.M Sahni, Convenor INTACH Jammu Chapter and Dr. C.M Seth (Environmentalist) were the Guests of Honour, Principal Jodhamal, Trilok Singh Bist, Vice Principal Monika Sethi and the other prominent members of INTACH Jammu Chapter Dr Sonia, Satwant Singh Rissam and DrAbrol Rajesh were also present.
The arrangements for this event were organised by Nandani Bakshi, Senior Coordinator (CCA) in a professional and methodical manners. S.M Sahni, Convener Intach Jammu Chapter appreciated the efforts put in by Nandani Bakshi and staff Jodhamal Public School.
