INFOBUG holds felicitation ceremony of biggest competition at Jammu Haat

JAMMU: On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, a felicitation ceremony of the biggest competition on the theme of patriotism was organized by INFOBUG under the aegis of Directorate of Tourism Jammu and Directorate of Industries and Commerce Jammu at Jammu Haat today. The 15 days long contest was sponsored by Kisna Jewelers Jammu and Sukam Jammu HEV Pvt Ltd, in association with State Times Media Partner, Red FM Radio Partner, MNM Hub Designing Partner, Trilok Chef 9 Decor Partner, Dee Dee Reprographics Printing Partners, Female Fashions and Be Classy with Ruhi was the gifting partner, while Ombre, The Fashion Destination and IFIX Computers were the associate sponsors. Param Veer Chakra awardee Captain Bana Singh was the Chief Guest. Highlighting the significance of celebrating Independence Day, he urged the students to celebrate it as a Jan Mahotsav to bring the contribution of every section of society to the fore. The programme started by paying homage to the heroes of the Indian freedom struggle, followed by patriotic programmes by all the winners of the FANKAR competition. As many as 80 students of the different school and colleges participated in the competition and enthralled the audience with their soulful patriotic songs in the praise of the freedom fighter of India. Raghu Sarmal first, Aayati Sharma second, Vikram Rana and Rinku Kailash secured the third position, while Gaurav Singh was awarded the consolation prize in the singing competition. Adhiraj Raina, Kimaya Sharma and Aishvi Soni were the winners of Fancy Dress. Lavanya Gupta, Aishvi Soni, Amyra Gupta, Sanyam Gupta, Yashika Jamwal, Mayuri Choudhary, Jagjeet Kaur, Vikram Rana, Sanjana Kumari and Sahildeep Singh were the winners of poetry in sub-junior, junior and senior categories. Harkirat Singh, Anant Aadhar and Saatvik Verma were the winners of Quiz Competition. Anaysha Arora, Aadhya Sharma, Amayra Gupta, Niddha Mahajan, Vishali Mangotra, Anaisha Aggarwal, Reyansh Raina, Kehkesha, Sparsh Singh Chib, Harshita Khajuria and Anshika were the winners of Dance Competition. Whereas Suryansh Mahajan, Japsimar Singh, Ayaan Mahajan, Vishwas Gupta and Yuvkaran were the winners of Instrumental competition. Later, the special guests Sunaina Mehta Joint Director Tourism, Virender Kumar Manyal General Manager DIC, Col Devender Anand and Raj Daluja Editor in Chief State Times, also distributed certificates and mementos among the participants of the competition. Earlier, Managing Director INFOBUG, Amar Chouhan gave a brief summary of the activities being carried out by INFOBUG, especially to celebrate Independence Day. During the contest, Anupama Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Satish Chander, Shashi Gupta, Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Dr. Chanchal Bhasin, Shekhar Cartoonist, Dr. Amarjeet Singh and Irfan Choudhary acted as judges. Singer Sonali Dogra, Tarrot Rader Jasmine Kour, Bharatnatyam Expert Nitika Aggarwal, Punnet Anand from Winni Cakes, Nidhi Abrol, Shilpa Chaku, Sandeep Rattan Verma, Mohit Mehra, Pankaj Khajuria, Rajesh Khajuria and a large number of students also attended the programme. Rajni Sharma anchored the whole programme whereas Mayuri Choudhary presented vote of thanks.
