JAMMU: As part of senior citizen day, the Cultural Wing of Joint Directorate of Information on Wednesday organised a cultural programme for the inmates of Old Age Home.
The artists Jeevan Sharma, Vijay Anand, Usha Handoo, Sunil Sharma, Bunty Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Kamal Kumar and Bodh Raj presented Bhajans and Dogri songs which were highly applauded by the senior citizens.
Secretary, Old Age Home, Vijay Bagotra was also present on the occasion.
Extending his gratitude, the President of the Old Age Home requested the Information Department to organise such programmes in future also. He said having such events in the Home provide the inmates some moments of enjoyment and leave a relaxing effect on their minds .
