KATHUA: In a series of SVEEP initiated by the District Election Officer Kathua, SBI RSETI Kathua organised an awareness programme in its premises. The programme was conducted by the Nodal Officer SVEEP Kathua Dr. Bharat Bushan which was attended by about 50 people comprising of CSPs of SBI and the students of beauty parlor course undergoing training at the institute besides the faculty.
Dr. Bharat Bushan deliberated in length on the importance of voting and how it helps in choosing a right candidate for the progress of the nation.
Dr. Bharat Bushan explained to the CSPs about their role in SVEEP and asked them to participate wholeheartedly in the campaign so that all the citizens exercise their franchise and where there are new voters enroll them in the voter lists by keeping a close liaison with the BLOs and other election agencies. In case of any problem they should feel free to contact him on his mobile at any time of the day.
Vijay Kumar Padha Director of the institute also educated the gathering about the importance of their vote and requested all the present to spread this message in their Mohallas, villages. He also asked the CSPs of the SBI to work with zeal in this noble cause for the country.
