Implement Seventh Pay Commission in J&K: Pensioners

JAMMU: All J&K State Pensioners Association expressed regret over the postponing of implementation of Seventh Pay Commission in J and K.
General Secretary of the Association, Madan Lal Abrol lambasted government for hiking the pay and perks of the legislators and ministers and also hiking the pension benefits of Ex-MLAs and MLCs and ministers.
The association regretted for enhancing the medical assistance of legislators from Rs. 5,000 to 10,000 whereas the government has been ignoring its employees and pensioners for the last 20 years as they are being paid merely Rs. 300 per month which is just a mockery with them.
The association demanded immediate implementation of Seventh Pay Commission and enhancement of the medical allowance to Rs. 10,000 at par with legislators.
Convenor of the State Pensioner Association, Jagdish Dogra demanded FIR against the anti-national elements who provoked Kashmiri youth as a result lost human lives.
Others who also expressed their views include Yash Paul Sanson, Ram Pal Sharma, Jagdish Sharma, Des Raj Gupta, Bhushan Pargal, Puran Chand Khajuria, Harbans Singh, Madan Lal Sharma, Mohd Ayub Khan, Secretary Dr. Raj Kumar and K.K Sharma.
