IHRSC excels at 5th Ranking National, produces two national champions, wins 18 medals

JAMMU: Indian Hawks Roller Skating Club (IHRSC) excelled in 5th National Ranking Roller skating Championship, Amritsar 2024 by producing two national ranking champions and clinching a total of 18 medals.
The skating club’s stellar performance was highlighted by the exceptional achievements of its players, who showcased unparalleled skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the championship. Notably, skaters Uday Narayan and Puneesh Puri from IHRSC secured the coveted titles of National Ranking Champions in under 17 and under 14 age categories respectively, bringing great pride and honor to the club and its well wishers.
The skaters’ success was undoubtedly attributed to their relentless dedication to training, expert coaching, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Ashok Gandotra (Chief Engineer Retd.) President IHRSC while applauding the momentous feat of these skaters encouraged them to remain consistent towards the game claiming that dedication and seriousness will help them to achieve more landmarks in the days to come.
The medal tally includes seven gold medals, eight silver and three bronze medals. The medal winners include Tabish Haider Chib (1 Bronze0, Tamanna Saini (1 Gold, 1 Silver), Vanshaj (1 Silver, 1 Bronze), Puneesh Puri (2 Gold, 1 Silver) (National Champion), Udhay Narayan (3 Gold) (National Champion), Kartikeya Puri (1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze), Samarjot Singh (3 Silver) and Prageet Kour (1 Silver).
