IGP Jammu takes salute at passing out parade

VIJAYPUR: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, Danesh Rana on Saturday stressed that the role of Photography Cadre in Police Department is very important especially in the preservation of scene of crime and law and order situations.
IGP, the Chief Guest, was addressing an attestation-cum-passing-out parade of 76 trainees of nine months BRTC Photography Cadre (Batch-1st) at Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur in Samba district.
The Chief Guest inspected the parade and took salute of the march past and also presented mementoes/trophies to the trainees who exhibited excellence in various activities.
Danesh Rana congratulated the newly passed out trainees for their becoming members of J and K Police family and advised them to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication.
Earlier, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, SSP Ranjit Kanwar welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and gave a detailed briefing about training imparted to the trainees for their all round development keeping in view the professional needs of police organisation.
Const. Arif Dilshad was declared top all round best while Const. Anil Kumar as second all round best.
Mubassir Latifi, SSP Crime, Jammu, Joginder Singh, SSP Samba, Roop Raj Bhagat, Commandant IRP 17th Bn, Rajneesh Pran, SSP SO to DIG Jammu, other GOs, staff/trainees of the institute and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
