RAMNAGAR: Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar Farrukh Qazi on Wednesday chaired a meeting to discuss the arrangements for Independence Day celebrations.
During the meeting, SDM informed that the main function would be held at Government Higher Secondary School, where the VIP would unfurl the National Flag and take salute from the march past comprising contingents of police, NCC and students.
A cultural programme would also be presented by the school children on the occasion .The SDM directed the officers of PHE, PWD, PDD, Health, Municipality and Police Departments to make adequate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the national festival.
Others present in the meeting were Tehsildar Ramnagar Romesh Singh, BMO Shiv Ditta Atri, AEE PDD Ramnagar Yashpaul Thakur and other Tehsil officers of various departments.
