Jammu: Inter-House Girls Kho-Kho matches were organised in the premises of Humanity Public School in which teams of four Houses-Agni, Prithvi, Akash and Trishool took part.
The matches were played on knock-out-basis in preliminary phase which were followed by quarterfinals and semifinals.
In an exciting contest first semifinal was played between Agni and Akash House in which Agni House scored three points whereas Akash House won by securing 13 points.
Second semifinal was played between Trishool House and Prithvi House in which Prithvi House won by securing 16 points against 10 points secured by Trishool House.
The final was played between Akash House and Prithvi House in which Prithvi House won in nail biting contest by securing 13 points against 11 points secured by Akash House.
The referees of the matches were Ajay Sharma and Surekha.
Before starting of the match Principal Gaurav Charak wished all the best to the teams and said that matches were organised to identify the sporting talent which will help to ameliorate the mental and physical development and in turn constructive nation building.
