HUMAN RIGHTS

0 120

Indeed, human rights are fundamental rights and freedoms that all individuals are entitled to, regardless of factors such as gender, caste, creed, religion, culture, socioeconomic status, or location. They encompass a range of rights, including civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights, and are protected by law at both national and international levels. Despite the universal recognition of human rights, violations still occur worldwide. These violations can take various forms, such as discrimination, violence, censorship, torture, and more. Often, these violations are perpetrated or condoned by state actors, although they can also occur within societal or familial contexts. To address and prevent human rights abuses, various mechanisms have been established at both national and international levels. The United Nations plays a significant role in this regard, with committees and agencies dedicated to monitoring and investigating human rights violations.
