UDHAMPUR: A housewife committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance in her house in Udhampur on Thursday.
According to a report, a housewife identified as 56 years Hardyan Devi wife of Lal Chand resident of village Madda in district Udhampur took some poisonous substance in her house to end her life. On seeing her lying unconscious her family members shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors did their best to save her live but finally she lost her breath in hospital. Police handed over the body to her family members after conducting autopsy and also registered a case for investigation.
