Hideout in terror associate’s house busted in Poonch, ammunition recovered

POONCH: Security forces on Sunday busted a hideout constructed in the house of a terror associate who was arrested in connection with an ambush on an army vehicle in Poonch district last month, officials said.
Nissar Ahmed, who was among six persons arrested for providing support to terrorists, led the security forces to his house, where a hideout was busted, the officials said.
As per official handout, today after sustained and professional questioning of the accused persons and on the disclosure statement of Nisar Ahmed, son of Mohd Shareef , resident of Gursai Moori and Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mir Mohd, resident of Gursai Moori who are booked in FIR No of 42/2023 under sections 302,307,120 B ,121,122,436 IPC , 3/4 Explosive substance act,7/25,26/27 Indian Arms Act ,16/18/20 UAPA act of Police Station Gursai.
The recoveries have been made from the house of Mushtaq Ahmed include 2 Chinese Grenades; 1 AK Magazine, 30 AK rounds; Hammer and chisel 1 each that had been used for the construction of the hide and 1 packet Pak made cigarette.
From the house of Nisar Ahmed, 2 Chinese grenades 2; 60 AK rounds; 2 AK Magazines and Money INR19 thousand.
From the hide 2 blankets, 1 damaged magazine; 24 rounds of AK 47; one sanyo tape recorder; 1 Plastic sheet; 2 steel plates; 2 steel glasses, Some medicines, wrappers of dry fruit, chips, biscuits etc were recovered.
