JAMMU: Justice Tashi Rabstan of J and K High Court Jammu Wing on Thursday issued notices to the State and others returnable within two weeks and directed respondents that operation of impugned order dated October 24, 2014 whereby the Principal GMC Jammu had given prospective extension from 7th November, 2014 to Dr. Manmeet Kour as Lecturer on academic arrangement basis through backdoor means in the discipline of Surgery GMC, Jammu, in violation of the provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004 read with Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules, 2005, shall not be acted upon.
The order came in response to a petition filed by Dr. Sayeed Majid Malik challenging violation of roster point to selection Adhoc teaching faculty in Government Medical College Jammu. JNF
