GRP recovers 7 Kg Ganja, 2 held

JAMMU: As a part of its continuous drive against the drug menace on 5th October, GRP Jammu arrested two persons and recovered 7Kg of narcotis substance (Ganja) from their possession.
During routine checking at Railway Station Jammu, police intercepted two persons and during physical checking seven packets of Ganja were recovered from their possession.
SSP GRP Rajinder Gupta stated that both the accused identified as Sunita Devi, wife of Shiv Kumar, resident of Miram, Police Station Fatehpur, Hajipur Bihar and Munish Kumar alias Mani Lal, son of Shakal Dev Rai, resident of Patna (Bihar), were arrested on the spot and seized the recovered drugs.
A case under FIR No 19/2016 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station GRP Jammu and investigation started. The arrest was made by a team led by SHO Police Station GRP Jammu.
