We the resident of Sector -F, Sainik Colony Jammu through this medium of your esteemed paper want to bring into the notice of administration that for the last one and half month we are facing lot of difficulties due to frequent curtailment of electricity. Despite making representation to concerned staff requesting this problem of curtailment of electricity when the summer is at its peak has not been resolved till date. During last week of June -2016, the area mostly remained without electricity due to burning of transformer installed near tube well and frequent curtailments. However, the transformer was replaced with a second hand one which also became non-functional.
Every day the residents of Sector-F approach either JE or concerned line man and plead before them for restoration of light which becomes faulty due to heavy load or improper distribution of the electricity in the area despite the fact they are paying their dues regularly to the department. The area which falls under the above mentioned transformer is suffering for the last four to five years but no one from the concerned department bothers to resolve the problem once for all. The administration/concerned department is requested to mitigate the genuine demand of the residents of the area and resolve it once for all.
