JAMMU: Minister of Finance, Culture, Labour and Employment, Dr Haseeb Drabu on Tuesday said the government will explore possibilities to give priority to the power sector under the 14th Finance Commission award.
He was responding to a question raised by MLA, Mohammad Abbas Wani and supplementaries raised by legislators Ravindar Raina and M Y Tarigami.
Drabu said that under 14th Finance Commission, funds have been provided under different heads – Post Devolution Revenue Deficit, Disaster Management, Local Body grants and share in central taxes.
