Govt committed to provide ‘healing touch’ to people: Hamid
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Criticising opposition for its ‘not so healthy’ role in ending the cycle of violence in Kashmir Valley, PDP leader Abdul Hamid Choudhary asked it to not to add fuel to fire and let the State return to normalcy. He said Coalition Government is quite sensitive towards people’s issues and is committed to provide them ‘healing touch’ as envisaged by late Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
As directed by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the entire administrative machinery is making efforts to reach out to people to mitigate their sufferings, bring economy back on rails, revive normal life that was thrown out of gear and help injured recover fast by providing them adequate medical aid. He said that for Chief Minister, people of the State and not politics is a priority and she feels the pain of sufferers as well.
It was only during recent past that she enquired about the status of the SRO-43 cases and came to know that about 177 cases have been approved for appointment while the remaining cases are in pipeline.
Similarly she is working hard to develop Jammu and Kashmir State to a level where youth could get enough employment and not get mislead by forces inimical to peace and prosperity, he added.
