Governor briefed about J&K’s security scenario

JAMMU: In the wake of continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan, Governor N.N Vohra was on Monday briefed on the prevailing security scenario in the State by army’s Northern Command Chief Lt Gen D.S Hooda.
As per an official Raj Bhawan spokesman, Lt Gen Hooda called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhawan.
“Lt Gen Hooda briefed the Governor about the current security scenario and spoke about the pattern of infiltration attempts and ceasefire violations from across the International Border and Line of Control,” the spokesman said.
The Governor discussed with Lt Gen Hooda several issues relating to effective internal security management in the State, he said.
