KISHTWAR: Expressing concern over indifference of PDP-BJP dispensation towards growing problems of people, especially in the remote and far-off areas of the State, former minister and National Conference MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo on Saturday said that development has come to complete halt due to governance deficit.
Interacting with people of various areas of the district, Kichloo particularly made a mention of utility services, saying these have been worst-hit due to lack of political direction and administrative inertia. “There is no semblance of the government on ground”, he said, adding that this has further accumulated problems on account of power, drinking water and rations. He sought immediate measures for creating buffer of rations at the far-off places which get land-locked due to snow during winters.
