JAMMU: Department of English, Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi on Thursday organised an essay competition on ‘Causes of Unemployment Among Youth’.
In all, fifteen students participated in the competition in which Afsana Naik bagged first position and second and third positions were clinched by Saleema Koser and Rabia Koser respectively.
The competition was conducted under the supervision of HoD English, Nazir Ahmed Bhat and Lecturer Sajad Dilawer. Principal of the College, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina appreciated the English Department for organising the competition and also congratulated the winners.
