BUDHAL: Government Deg-ree College Budhal was sanctioned eight years back in 2008 but neither the building nor the infrastructure is made available due to which career of the students has been badly affected. The president Stude-nts Union Zahid Mir released a hand out to the press explaining the plight of students whose career is at stake. He said that due to non-availability of the college building, the college is functioning in four rooms of the Government Higher Secondary School Budhal. Being a far flung area, the students cannot afford to go to Rajouri or other stations and they have ultimately to depend on this college and the strength is increasing every year. The problem was brought to the notice of MLA and Cabinet Minister Choudhary Zulafkar who had assured that the building wouild be ready and the new session of 2016 will start in the new building but contrary to his assurance, the work on college building has not been completed even up to ten per cent.
The students have now threatened the concerned authorities that if the building is not completed and handed over to the college immediately, they would hold large scale protests and block roads.
