JAMMU: Boycotting regular class work, the students of Government College of Engineering and Technology continued with their protest against the dearth of facilities for the second consequent day outside college campus, here on Tuesday.
Raising slogans against college administration, the representatives of students said that it is unfortunate that helmsmen have utterly failed to provide the basic facilities to the students pursuing professional courses in the institution.
They threatened the concerned authorities that if their demands were not met soon they will intensify their ongoing struggle. The students were demanding faculty for all streams, SRTC bus service, rich library, ambulance service, students’ mess, functional placement cell, sports funds, internet connectivity and uninterrupted power supply, Automatic Telling Machine (ATM) on the campus and stationery shop.
