R S PURA: MLA R S Pura, Dr. Gagan Bhagat on Wednesday launched Prime Ministers Ujjwala Yojna here at R S Pura and distributed free LPG connections to the BPL beneficiaries of the area. Gagan while addressing the gathering said that Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) have benefitted 3.7 crore households living below the poverty line in the whole country till date, and is highest ever connections in a year. He further said that the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India have planned to give 5 crore connections over the next three years. Dr. Gagan Bhagat gave away free LPG connections to 40 women from BPL families from villages in R S Pura Constituency AD Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, TSO R S Pura ,TSO Miran Sahib, Senior Sales Officers of Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil Company, BJP Mahila Morcha State Secretary Monika Sharma, Distt. President , Brijesh Rana, Mandal Pradhan Natharam ,BJP Mahila Morcha Distt President Neelam ,BJP office bearers from R S Pura, Prominent persons of the locality and persons from NGOs were present.
