REASI: Police on Friday nabbed four persons wanted in attempt to murder case at Katra and recovered key evidences
As per details, on March 17, 2024 Police Station Katra received an information from reliable sources that some goons stabbed one Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, son of Bodh Raj, resident of Aghar Jitto, Katra with sharp edge weapon at Aghar Jitto Katra, leaving behind the injured in serious condition.
Subsequently case FIR No. 82/2024 under section 307/341/34 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act registered at Police Station Katra and police swung into action and injured person shifted to CHC Katra for treatment.
Sensing the gravity of incident SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma constituted a special team to trace out the accused at the earliest.
Special team laid Nakas in and around the Katra town to arrest accused persons. After meticulous track-following, with the help of technical team & consistent hectic efforts, team of Police Station Katra zeroed upon the location of the accused.
During the search, all the 04 accused persons namely Sunil Sharma alias Sunilu, son of Parshotam Sharma; Himanshu Sharma alias Rajju, resident of Ramesh Sharma; Rohit Kumar alias Rotu, son of Parshotam Sharma and Mukesh Kumar alias Mukeshu, son of Kushal Chand all resident of Village- Aghar jitto, tehsil Katra district Reasi, were arrested and recovered sharp edged weapons on their disclosures i.e. Dharat 01,Toka 01 & cricket bat 01. The whole operation is led by SHO Katra insp Nishant Gupta. SSP Reasi expressed that such barbaric act done by Criminals is rarest of the rare, Such Criminals a black spot on our social fabric. She further stressed that investigation shall incorporate each and every evidence to ensure justice is done in this heinous act at an earliest.
