Forest employees protest for removal of pay anomalies
BHADARWAH: All Jammu and Kashmir Non Gazetted Forest Officer Association unit Bhadarwah on Saturday held a protest in the premises of the Forest Complex Bhadarwah for the various long pending demands .
Early in the morning large numbers employees assembled in the office complex and started shouting slogans in favour of their demands which included removal of pay anomalies of forest guard / foresters , release of two and half day salary , release of risk allowance , regularisation of daily wagers of Forest Department and change of designation of helpers and forest guards.
Speaking on the occasion Abdul Hafiz Dar Acting President of the Association lashed out at State Government for delaying polices regarding their genuine demands. Dar also condemned the alleged misuse of police force on the peaceful protest employees of the Forest Department in Srinagar and warned the State Government and higher authorities for settlement of all issues. Aftaqb Ahmed , Sarfraz Ahmed , Rezwan Najar , Naseer Ahmed Shapoo , Jangir Najar and Mushtaq Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile All J and K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association held a one day protest Dharna under its Zonal President Lal Mani Sharma and urged the government to accept their genuine demands at the earliest.
The association demanded removal of pay anomalies, payment of risk allowance, payment of 2 -1/2 days extra salary, holding of regular Departmental Promotion Committees (DPC) and regularization of the daily rated persons of the department.
