POONCH: Five persons died when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge on Mughal road in Poonch district on Saturday.
A vehicle skidded of the Mughal road short of Pir Ki Gali area in Poonch district and rolled down into a gorge, a senior police officer said.
In the mishap five persons were killed, an officer said adding further details are awaited.
The deceased were identified as Gourav Sharma son of Shiv Kumar Sharma, resident of Aligarh, Danesh Ahmed, resident of Aligarh, Muzmual Mohi-ud-Din, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, resident of Shopian, Bashir Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman, resident of Kulgam, Sayed Ahmed Mir, son of Mohd Yousur Mir, resident of Kulgam, he said.
