Farewell accorded to Public Prosecutors Kulbhushan, Kuldeep on promotion, transfer

JAMMU: Farewell was accorded to Public Prosecutor Jammu Kulbhushan Sharma and Kuldeep Kumar Bhat, APP CJM Court Jammu who on their promotion as Deputy Director Prosecution and Chief Prosecuting Officer respectively were transferred from Distrcit Court, Jammu.
During the function at conference Hall of the District court Jammu, Learned Principal District Sessions Judge Sanjay Parihar was Chief Guest, while DDPs Jammu Bhupinder Singh, Irshad Ahmed ACB ,CPOs Rajesh Bakshi ACB, as well as new incumbent Suresh Sharma PP Jammu and APP Vikram Parihar along with other Prosecutors of District Court Jammu Vikrant Sharma , Anil Mangotra , Manzar Khayam, Manmohit Sharma, Anil Saini, Yogesh Bamba , Arvind Rathore ,Naveed Anjum, Shalini Sharma and Pallavi Keser were also present. New entrants in the prosecution department appointed as prosecuting officers namely Ritika Jamwal, Prabjoot Kour, Akshita Bharti, Kanav Kumar, Zirgham Hamid and Vishal Khajuria also attended the function.
Learned PDJ Jammu Sanjay Parihar in his speech appreciated the dedication and professionalism of PP, Jammu gave wishes to the transferee prosecutors and also highlighted the role and relevance of Public Prosecutor as a ‘gate keepers’ of criminal justice and stressed that In the performance of their duties, prosecutors shall protect the public interest, act with objectivity, take proper account of the position of the suspect and the victim, and pay attention to all relevant circumstances, irrespective of whether they are to the advantage or disadvantage of the suspect ,Prosecutor role is to put before the Trial court all available, relevant, and admissible evidence necessary to enable the court to determine the guilt or innocence of the suspect/accused.
DDP Jammu Bhupinder Singh also spoke on the occasions, appreciated the work/efforts of the transferee officers and welcomed the newly appointed prosecuting officer, DDP Irshad Ahmed also wished good luck to both the officers in their future endeavours. Both the transferee also spoke on the occasions and thanks their colleagues for the support and cooperation rendered to them during their tenure in prestigious courts of Principal sessions Court Jammu and CJM Jammu court Both the officers were honoured with souvenir.
Proceedings of the Function were efficiently conducted by the CPO Anil Mangotra. later PDJ, Jammu Sanjay Parihar also interacted with newly appointed prosecuting officers and congratulated them and wished them good luck in their career. All the officers present wished both the transferee officers good wishes for new posting.
