Dear Editor,
The spurge in protests, demonstrations, hooliganism, in university campuses is a dangerous trend that is attracting the youths who are inclined to take up politics as their career. The more they create ruckus, the more are the chances of them having a bright career in politics. Job scarcity, rising ambitions, quick promotions, easy money, that is what is attracting many students in politics, and becoming their future goals in life. This trend needs to be stopped. Liberty to freedom of expression, a birth right, can wait till the students have completed graduation. Colleges should be meant for academics. Serious students suffer in this drama.
