SAMBA: Ghagwal Police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 600 grams poppy straw from his possession.
According to the report, during the intervening night, a team of Ghagwal Police Station headed by SHO Ghagwal Police Station SI Rajeshwar Singh apprehended one person at Sagwali Link Road Ghagwal and during his frisking recovered 600gm of poppy straw from his possession
The accused identified as Ashwani Khajuria son of Gopal Khajuria resident of Sangwali Ghagwal was arrested and a case vide FIR No 88/2017 under section 8/15 NDPS Act was registered against him in Ghagwal Police Station.
