SRINAGAR: Police arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered huge quantity of prescription drugs from his possession. Acting on specific information, a police party headed by SHO Police Station, Pulwama, Raja Tasleem, during patrolling apprehended a notorious drug peddler and recovered 100 bottles of codeine phosphate and Charas from his possessions. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganie, son of Wali Mohammad Ganie, resident of Chatpora Pulwama.
A case FIR number 34/17 under Section 8/20/22 NDPS Act was registered against him and further investigation has been taken up.
