SRINAGAR: A drug peddler was today arrested after 23 kgs of contraband was recovered from his possession in Awantipora area of Pulwama, police said. “Acting on a tip off, police arrested a drug peddler identified as Mohammad Maqbool Bhat from his native Reshipora locality in Awantipora, and recovered 23 kilogrammes of Bhang Choora from his possession,” a police spokesman said. He said a case under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered against the accused and investigation has been launched into the matter.
