Dr Nitan Sharma elected as the IEFCI  President for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh

NEW DELHI:  The International Economic Forum of Commerce and Industry (IEFCI) Governing Body has elected Dr. Nitan Sharma as the Forum’s President for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh region for a period of three years.  Dr. Nitan Sharma, an alumnus of University of Jammu and hailing from border district Poonch, is currently teaching as a Faculty of Law in Amity Law School, Noida.

When it comes to empowering businesses to ensure global security, prosperity, and access to opportunity, the International Economic Forum of Commerce and Industry is among the most prominent organizations available.  The IEFCI serves as a hub for the country’s business community, policymakers, and international traders by providing a forum for networking, legal advice, and sector-wide consensus formation. Without regard to venue or applicable legal system, the IEFCI’s Online Dispute Resolution and ADR proceedings are administered in a timely, accessible, and neutral fashion. Legal consultation in cyber laws, business laws, labor laws, and other areas, as well as a variety of online courses designed to advance the careers of entrepreneurs and professionals, are all provided.

Dr. Nitan Said, upon being elected, “I want to be associated with this forum with the belief to develop a sense of opportunity / growth for entrepreneurs, investors, startups, MSEs, semi-skilled and unskilled workforce, etc.” The forum would aid in the sustainable tapping of underutilized resources, in addition to providing people with employment. With this end in mind, we have adopted the motto “Academia-Industry-People Interface” as our guiding principle; this is especially important in the region that needs more focus than its peers.
