Dr Nirmal Singh sets an example, stops using subsidised cylinder

BILLAWAR: Senior BJP leader and MLA elect from Billawar, Dr Nirmal Singh on Wednesday set an example for others to follow by becoming the first from J and K not to use subsidised cylinder for his house. Dr Singh has followed the category of Arun Jaitley , Dharmendra Pradhan , Piyush Goel for not using subsidised cylinders for home cooking.
Dr Nirmal Singh said ” I have followed examples set by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan , Power Minister Piyush Goel in supporting the drive to get wealthy consumers to stop using subsidised LPG.I will not use subsidised cylinders for my home usage” .
Dr Nirmal Singh further added “ subsidy should go to the poorest of the poor. I am of the belief that the rich and affluent people who can afford to buy market price LPG, should voluntarily give up subsidised connection. This culture is now being followed in India by many .Let us do it in Jammu and Kashmir also”.
Dr Nirmal Singh toured Mandli , Phinter , Dhudwara , Deoli areas of Billawar Constituency and told people that promises made to them will be fulfilled and BJP will soon form a stable government in Jammu and Kashmir which will work for the masses.
Dr Nirmal Singh further added that he will push strongly to make Dudwara – Shallan Road a National Highway. Dr Singh said this route has lot of traffic on it and now to cater this huge traffic it should get converted as a National Highway and this will also reduce the travelling time.
