JAMMU: Four students from Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu brought laurels to the school with their selection and participation in national level sports events in athletics and yoga.
Adhav Sharma-VIII B (Under 14) and Aditi Aryan-X E (Under 17) participated in School National Games from 6th to 9th February, 2017 held at Pune (Maharashtra) and 20th to 23rd February, 2017 at Vadodra (Gujarat).
Earlier Aditi won two gold medals and Adhav won silver medal in State level. Shubhdeep Lotra-VI G participated in 62nd National School Games 2016-17 in Yoga (Under 14) at NCT of Delhi while Iva Bharti-V B got selected for National Yoga Sports Championship held at Jharkhand. Earlier, she had also won first position in State level Yoga Championship.
Principal of the school, Ruchi Chabra, applauded the hard work and achievement of the participants and blessed them for their upcoming events. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also expressed her appreciation. President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Ritu Singh and Director S.S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to all the students and their parents on this accomplishment.
