JAMMU: Urging upon the State Government to take immediate measures for the eviction of the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis illegally settled in Jammu and its periphery, Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP and former Minister, said that any further delay in the process was fraught with dangerous portends.
He said that with peoples’ anger against the illegal settlers, with proven politico-religious culture of Jihad, mounting with each passing day, any laxity in the matter could prove disastrous. He was addressing a press conference, here on Wednesday.
Harsh said that the Rohingyas links with terror organisations have been widely reported not only by the intelligence agencies and media but established in Tral encounter in Pulwama in Oct last year when a Rohingya named Zaki-ur-Rehman Arkani code named as Chotta Burmi was eliminated by the forces.
He said that there are further reports from Bihar Police special branch claiming that they were in possession of intelligence inputs that Rohingya refugees were being trafficked to J and K with the help of Pak ISI.
He said that there have been further reports of LeT operatives travelling from Pakistan to Bangladesh and Burma for recruiting Rohingya youth for terror. Making a mention of a recent statement of Ayesha Andrabi, the NPP leader said that the Chief of Duktran-i-Millat had not only expressed solidarity with Rohingyas but extended an invitation to them to Kashmir where they were “most welcome”.
Further reports have been carried the media wherein two Rohingians namely Mohd Saleem and Mustafa Kamaal were apprehended on 29th October, 2016 by a team of Railway Police at Barauni Railway Junction and upon their interrogation they had disclosed that their infiltration had been facilitated by a group of people who wanted them to carry out anti India activities in J and K. He said that the criminal silence of the ruling alliance and BJP in particular over the illegal settlement of foreign nationals vindicated the ominous intentions of the dispensation to reduce Dogras to minority in Jammu. Gagan Pratap Singh Gen Secretary Young Panthers were also present during the press conference.
