JAMMU: The workers of Dogra Front under the leadership of Ashok Gupta took out a protest in Jammu city against the shortage of ration and non availability of sugar on ration depots.
Ashok Gupta said about 22,250 people have been excluded from three constituencies of R.S Pura, Bishnah and Chatraiya from the list of ration holders. He stated that it is a very big conspiracy against the people of Jammu so that the excess ration can be supplied to Kashmir. He alleged that not a single person from Kashmir valley has been excluded from the ration list.
Reminding that Ex-CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had assured that none shall be deprived of the ration, he said that in the Jammu district only, 22,250 people are deprived of the ration as their names have been struck out from the list of the ration holders clearly showing the conspiracy against the people of Jammu.
He demanded thorough probe in the issue. In an Appeal to CAPD Minister Zulfkar Ali Gupta, he sought improvement in ration distribution. He advised to hand over the job of ration distribution to a private company on the pattern of Gujarat. Prem, Kimti, Roop, Suresh, Fauji, Surjeet, Dinesh and Abhishek were also present.
