JAMMU: The Home Department on Wednesday transferred two police officers.
According to an order issued by Additional Secretary R.K Goyal, Diya D, IPS, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Baramulla.
“The post of Addl. Superintendent of Police, Baramulla, is re-designated as Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Baramulla, till held by the said officer,” reads the order.
It further stated Rakesh Kumar Parihar, Addl. Superintendent of Police, Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as Dy. Commandant IR-16th Battalion.
