Division Bench directs Chief Secretary to file objections

JAMMU: In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu seeking the quashing of circular dated 14th August, 2014 issued by Secretary J and K State Board of Technical Education whereby provisional selection list of the candidates for admission in three years diploma courses against left over seats was issued after inviting applications through advertisements from candidates for the said course and this selection process runs parallel and simultaneous to the selection process already initiated by BOPEE through entrance examination as the only authorized competent authority to conduct entrance and select the candidates for the said professional courses.
Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice M.M Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan after hearing Advocate Rajinder Jamwal appearing for the PIL granted two weeks time to Chief Secretary J and K and Commissioner/Secretary Technical Education to file objections. JNF
