UDHAMPUR: Under the personal initiative of his Lordship Justice M.M Kumar, Chief Justice of J and K High Court and Patron-in-Chief, State Legal Services Authority. Pr. District Session Judge R.K Watal distributed relief material among the flood hit victims in various viallges of Udhampur and its outskirt localities on Friday.
According to report, the relief material to include woolens, shawls, jackets, blankets, clothes and eatables sent by Chief Justice High Court M.M Kumar has been distributed at village Panjar, Pathi, Sui-Sambal, Jaganoo, Dooddoba Basti, Jakheni of Tehsil Udhampur by the CJM and District Mobile Magistrate Udhampur.
While at Chenani material was distributed under the supervision of Munsiff Chenani among the affected people at village Chasku, Dharmanthal, Mada, Chalyar, Chirdi, Ghawaland similarly in Tehsil Ramnagar relief material was distributed under the supervision of Sub Judge Ramnagar among people of village Chatrari, Amroh and Kalwanta and in Tehsil Majalta Munsiff Majlata distributed the material among the victims. Bar members and local people of the respective areas have appreciated the role of judiciary to help the victims and thanked the judiciary for helping the people affected in this crises.
