KATHUA: The District Kathua Skating Championship 2023 organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA) concluded at DPS Kathua on Saturday.
The championship was inaugurated by Principal Archana Sharma of DPS Kathua. She commended the JKRSA for organizing the championship and providing a platform for young skaters to showcase their talent.
She also thanked G.S. Khurmi, President of the JKRSA, who has been instrumental in the promotion of Roller Sports in J&K.
Dozens of skaters from different schools and clubs in the Kathua district participated in the championship. The skaters competed in different events, including roller skating, inline skating, and speed skating.
The winners of the championship were awarded medals and certificates by Principal Anita Bhatia.
WINNERS 7-9yrs boys Quads: Rutwik, gold, Reyansh, sliver and Gunvansh, bronze. Girls Quads: Suhani, gold. 9–11yrs boys Quads: Aakarshan, gold, Sakshan, silver and Bhavesh Dhanwal, bronze. Girls Quads: Tavisti, gold 9–11yrs boys Inline: Navish Sharma, gold. 11-14yrs boys Quads: Tanish Kumar, gold, Reyansh Sambyal, silver and Chirag, bronze. Girls Quads: Aditi Dogra, gold. 11–14 yrs boys Inline: Kaniya Saini, gold, Mohideep Singh, sliver and Krishna Saini, bronze. 14—17yrs Boys Quads: Shivansh Sudan, gold.
