JAMMU: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG), Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday held a protest against burning of National Flag by Inzamam, son of PDP leader Babu Hussain.
Dogra Front activists raised slogans against the PDP leader and burned his effigy.
“All the political parties and the politicians in the country are bounded by the Constitution of India and their first and foremost priority is to safeguard and follow the Constitution,” said Dogra Front President Ashok Gupta and added that a politician as an individual in a public life is bounded to safeguard the Constitution and this responsibility also lies on his family.
However, Ashok hailed police department for taking an exemplary step to arrest the PDP leader’s son.
He asked Mehbooba Mufti to take action against the PDP leader whose son has been involved in this seditious act.
“To win the confidence of people that BJP is meant for development and not anti-national activities, the party should ask PDP to suspend its leader till the sedition case against his son is decided”, he maintained and added that earlier also, BJP and PDP have to face people’s criticism over Masarat Alam’s release.
“It is unfortunate that anti-national elements enjoy support in educational institutions where students are lured to get involve in seditious activities. Disrespect to national flag will never be tolerated”, he said and demanded stern action against the anti national elements involved in anti national activities.
Ashish, Parkash, Suresh, Birbal, Narendra Tangri, Geeta, Roshan, Fauji, Vickoo, Lal Singh, Shanti, Sudesh, Abhishek and others were present in the protest.
