JAMMU: Director School Education (DSE), R.A Inqulabi visited Government Girls High School Gandhi Nagar on Saturday and distributed uniform among poor students of the school.
Chief Education Officer Jammu, Tarsem Lal Bhagat, DIET Principal, Mohinder Singh and ZEO Gandhi Nagar were also present on the occasion.
Students of the school presented cultural items, skits etc on the occasion.
Director School Education appreciated the efforts of the Headmaster and staff of the school who donated the uniforms (sweaters) to the poor and needy students during the peak winter season.
Chief Education Officer also appreciated the efforts of the staff and Headmaster for this noble cause.
Director School Education also inspected the teachers Bhawan and the school premises and appealed to the other institution to get the motivation from the staff of this school and do whatever they can for the poor and needy students.
Zonal Education Officer Gandhi Nagar, Mussarat Jabeen also spoke on the occasion. Headmaster GGHS Gandhi Nagar presented the vote of thanks.
