NEW DELHI: : Director General Defence Estates (DGDE), Ravi Kant Chopra on Thursday handed over a cheque for Rs 48,90,000 to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar as the contribution of the Defence Estates Organisation to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, here.
According to a defence ministry release, this amount was collected as voluntary contribution of the officers and staff of the Defence Estates Organisation towards relief efforts in Jammu and Kashmir which was recently devastated by floods.
